My story


Hi, I’m Synclair — and I know choosing the right real estate agent is a huge decision. You should feel confident about the agent you’re partnering with. So, here’s a little information about me.

I grew up in Azusa, California but life has taken me across the country and world. After living in Upstate New York, NYC, Madrid, Spain, and North Carolina, I eventually found my way back home.


I’ve always been a big dreamer & go-getter. My parents thought I was crazy to strive for admission into an Ivy League and leave to the east coast for college. Somehow, with thanks to God, I got into my dream school, and after graduating from Cornell University, I began my career in the tech industry working as a marketer at IBM and quickly began to thrive.

My path to real estate began when I started searching for my first home. I naively thought, given my educational & professional accomplishments, that this would be a smooth process. But I was quickly humbled when I started learning the price of homes in southern California. I grew more frustrated and discouraged when I learned about downpayment expectations, private mortgage insurance, and rising interest rates—but I became more determined to educate myself on the best financial moves to make when purchasing real estate—starting with getting my real estate license so I could earn the commission on my own purchase.


Halfway through the prerequisites, though, I realized obtaining a license was not as effortless as I thought it would be—you have to learn a lot to become a real estate salesperson!

& more importantly, I realized I am fascinated by this industry. Real estate isn’t just about transactions — it’s about helping people make meaningful moves in their lives. And I am privileged to be in a position where I can serve you with this license!

What you can expect from me as your real estate agent:

Real estate transactions are a complex process where you, as a buyer or seller, have to trust your agent with private aspects of your finances, your desires & dreams, your expectations, and other potentially vulnerable aspects surrounding this transaction. With something as big as this, you might worry that you’ll be taken advantage of.

My commitment to providing exceptional service is rooted in my belief that every client deserves personalized attention and expert guidance. I pride myself on being a trustworthy agent who prioritizes your needs and goals, ensuring a smooth and successful real estate experience.

Other things to mention about what you can expect from me:

  • I work remotely and am happy with my career in the tech industry, so my real estate endeavors happen out of an overflow of wanting to help people, not out of a need to make money. I say this only so that you feel confident that I am here to put your interests first, not make a giant commission.
  • Working remotely also means that I am less available on weekdays before 12 pm, as most of my calls are in the morning, but I guarantee you are a priority, I promise great communication, and I am flexible to work with your schedule!
